Congratulations Ryan!

Photo of Ryan BradleyRyan Bradley was born on November 17, 1983, in St. Joseph, Missouri. He began skating at the age of 2 because his sister Becky, now a figure skating coach, skated. His parents were also figure skaters. Ryan volunteers for the Broadmoor Skating Club and coaches at the World Arena, where he also trains. He is studying business at the University of Colorado-Colorado Springs. One day, he would like to go to graduate school at Kansas University. His biggest life-defining moment was going to college.

Ryan Bradley's family moved to Colorado Springs when he was twelve years old because of Ryan's talent at figure skating. Ryan's father left a successful medical practice in St. Joseph, Missouri so that Ryan could train at the Colorado Springs World Arena, one of the top figure skating training centers in the world. Ryan has been coached by Tom Zakrajsek since he was five years old. He landed a double axel, triple salchow and triple toe loop by the time he was nine years old.

Ryan Bradley appeared in a commercial for Fuji Xerox with Stephane Lambiel, wearing heavy makeup to appear as an old man. He performed a backflip in this commercial. Due to its popularity, Fuji released a second one explaining how it was done.

As hobbies, Ryan likes to read mysteries, horror stories and biographies; play tennis; and play video games. He also likes to collect movies on DVD, and he listens to a wide variety of music on his iPod.

Ryan's goal for the season is to qualify for the World Championships.
